Study says that India will have 1.5 billion connections by 2015.

India will prove to be a growth market for mobile communications in the near future as a recent study by Research and Markets forecasts that India will have 1.5 billion mobile connections by 2015. What this means is that the people of India will have a huge appetite for bandwidth and applications. I expect there will allot of companies looking to satisfy consumer demand. That’s not to mention apps like Groupon would be available to Indian consumers for their phones. Another company that might profit from the mobile boom in India would be Apple computer since their products would be seen as a fashion statement by India’s elite.
