Now that’s interesting. I’m all for experimenting with new tech if it might mean a better viewing experience for me down the road. Then again it would be nice if Comcast invested in fiber for the consumer.

And the cost will get passed onto the consumer who in turn will complain that the price of basic cable is to high. This will in turn make the consumer want to flee basic cable even more and seek alternative entertainment options. Thus the fewer viewers of TV the less channels and cable companies can charge for commericals. The beginning of a vicious cycle and the possible end to the cable company as we know.
