My Two Bits......
I’ve come to the realization that Job hunting is like fishing. You put the bait out, in this case your resume, and you troll the job boards for fish(jobs). You might get a few bites here, and there from recruiters, and then you get the phone interview which sort of like trying to land a job but here at the phone interview stage the job could slip away, or rather jump off your hook. But then there’s the time you hook a good fish(good job opportunity). When fishing you fight with the thing using a bit of patients and muscle to land it or in this case the job. The thing I like about fishing is the adrenaline rush you get from reeling it in. It’s sort of the same way trying to land a job. You go through the all the stages of the interview process trying your darnedest to land the job. And when you finally land that job that you want, it’s sort of like and exhilarating feeling like Yes! You did it! You landed a job! That’s the way I feel after I landed a small mouth bass that put up one heck of a fight. The next step is kind of like eating the fish that you caught, you actually get to do the job that you fished for. So enjoy it like you would a fresh caught fish.

Surfs up!...........................Eric
